This chapter was really interesting, but I had to read it twice to know what was going on in parts :o Especially at the end, with the boat appearing at one end of the pub and then tearing away into the ocean... I think it's because it's written from Simon's Pov, and he doesn't know what's going on either. Now that I *think* I know what's happening, kind of, I'm curious to see what Simon's going to do next. Or what's going to happen to Simon next, anyway. :) Also, I must say, I found Miranda's particular little dissability quite innovative ;) I'm curious how she figured out how it worked, or if she ever speaks to girls much ;) Maybe I'll have to have her meet Jan at some point...
